What's the difference?

A few months ago I saw a snippet of ThePrimeagen asking (or being asked by the chat, I can't remember) how is AI writing code different than AI doing art? From my recollection he said he doesn't know and neither I do.
To be honest, this question has been on my mind on/off ever since. Intuitively, I feel like they should be different, as I value much more art than coding in general. Sure, I can appreciate some nice written code and even get excited if I see some sound Mathematics or Physics, but in the end I don't care that much if AI will be doing that more and more. On the other hand, I despise any writing or image-related art generated by AI. A cynical thought here: momentarily, art by AI is rather mediocre and you can still tell it apart from human art, but for how long? Objectively, I don't have any reason to feel different about one versus the other1.
I think Primeagen is more centric than me here, being rather accepting that in some proportion both his beloved code and my beloved art will be AI generated.
Another great article regarding some AI-related thoughts is Sean Goedecke's Many anti-AI arguments are conservative arguments
I'm curious what are your thoughts on the matter.

And I think it's fine.↩
